Money is something everyone uses, but not everyone uses well! If you’re living paycheck to paycheck, in debt, or just want to learn how to manage your money better, we’re offering a free financial seminar to help you!

Light refreshments provided, but the kitchen will be open if anyone wants to buy from the menu. No cost to attend and whoever comes will receive a link to a bonus Zoom session with Neil about making a budget.

It’s that time again! Bring your wheelers and side-by-sides to church for a day of fun out on the trails. If you have a dirt bike, please contact us to make sure you know about the trails difficulty.

We’ll leave 30 minutes after the end of our Sunday Service. Make sure you bring a bagged lunch and we’ll eat together on the trail.

Anchor Weekend Youth Retreat

On Thursday we announced our first event of the year! We’re going to Grand Manan for a spiritual retreat on September 24-25 to start the year off right and “anchor” ourselves to God! This event is open to students going into Grade 8 or older.

This spiritual retreat was made possible by a generous donation by the Graham family in memory of Paul Graham who wanted to invest in the next generation! Thank you for your donation!

Cost is 20$, but additional money will be required for supper Friday night on the Ferry and if they want spending money. Registration and money due by September 19th.

We are also looking for vehicles that seat more people to take down as they charge the same amount for a car as they do a van or 6-7 seater SUV. If you’re able to lend your vehicle, let me know! (two vans = three cars, saving almost $40)

Ridge Kids is back! If your child is going into Junior Kindergarten to going into Grade 5. The kids will be dismissed part way through the service to go downstairs.

Giving

During this time, we are encouraging e-transfer for tithes and offerings. To send an e-transfer, set the recipient as The Ridge Church and send it to “giving@theridgechurch.ca”. Set password as “offering”. If you want your offering designated, write that in the messages section, otherwise it will go to the General Fund. Auto-deposit is turned on.

You can also use the debit machine in the lobby, or place your offering in the boxes located in the lobby and sanctuary.
